Nvidia announced earlier this year that they will be soon launching a Quad Core phone by the end of this year or by the beginning of the next. So I am guessing MWC (Mobile World Congress) Feb-2012 HTC will show off their contender for the year.
The HTC Edge is thought to be the first smartphone out of the trap to support the new 1.5GHz Tegra 3 processor, which comes with a whopping four processor cores. Along with the processor the Device would/could/ should feature the 720p (could be 1080P also) resolution on a 4.7 inch Screen, 1GB of RAM, and back lit eight-megapixel camera with 28-millimeter, f/2.2 lens. Internal storage will likely be bumped to 32GB, while the Bluetooth radio should hit version 4.0.
The good thing is that Single core phones will take the lower end of the mid range segment and dual core phones will start showing up in the upper end, Console level gaming should also start showing up on mobile devices and currently even though there are dual core phone are in the Market there is no single app that requires that much power, at least not in the Android Ecosystem they just enable better multitasking and higher screen resolution, hence Nvidia has also promised that there are working on such High level games with game developers.
So what do think should be the first Console/ PC game that should hit the market first?
