LG was the first manufacturer to officially release the first Dual Core device in the market and this year again LG is first in showcasing their QUAD Core Android phone LG Optimus 4X HD.
The Optimus 4X will be running in a 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor with its 4-PLUS-1 architecture, featuring four performance cores handling graphic intensive tasks and one companion core for everything else. supported by of 16GB internal storage and 1GB RAM. All that power is put to good use as it has big 4.7-inch, 1280 x 720 resolution IPS display, 8MP camera at the back and 1.3MP in the front and is running the latest Android 4.0 OS out of the Box. There was speculation that Great Power brings Great battery consumption hence it has a big 2150mAh battery to get you through the day. Other Features include MHL and DLNA connectivity.
The Optimus 4X HD will hit the stores in Europe in the second (April,May,June) quarter of this year. For more information, we will have to wait for MWC.
The benchmark tests of the device have revealed that it is indeed a very powerful device and the current gold Standard the Galaxy Note is also no match for the power of the Optimus 4X
