Motorola has announced a new smartphone called the Droid Razor which motorola also calls the world slimest Smartphone yet. As the name suggests the Droid Razor can be called the successor to the very popular Motorola Razor which was launched in the November of 2005 was also known for it’s stunning design and it’d very slim profile. The Droid Razor itself will also be available in November this year maybe preplanned maybe a coincidence.

The phone features a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, covered with Gorilla Glass display on a very slim and lightweight Kevlar-infused body, which at it’s thinnest is just 7.1mm. This makes it the thinnest smartphone in the world. The Droid Razor is powered by a OMAP 4430 chipset with a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 processor running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 1GB of RAM. The onboard storage is 16GB and expandable memory up to 32GB. The Motorola Droid Razor features a 8MP camera that is capable of shooting 1080P full HD videos at 30FPS and a 2MP front camera that can record 720P HD videos. Motorola also promises 12.5 hours of talk time (on the Verizon network) and 8.9 of video playback backed by the 1800mAh battery under the hood.
The new DROID RAZR is expected to go on sale worldwide some time in November, although Verizon will start accepting pre-orders on October 27
