Motorola Fire Launched in India

motorola_fireMotorola as Launched a new Capacitive Touch and portrait QWERTY phone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System, called ‘Motorola Fire’. Motorola Fire is already launched in some of the European countries, including the UK and Germany.  Motorola also has a similar similar form factor in the Indian Market which was seen earlier in the not-so-successful Motorola Charm smartphone.

Motorola Fire comes with a 2.8 QVGA touchscreen display, sporting a resolution of 320×480 pixels, 600 MHz processor, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, full QWERTY keyboard, Moto Switch user interface, 3 megapixel camera, MicroSD card slot, 32 GB expandable memory and much more.

It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3G Connectivity, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, E-compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Android Market, GPS with A-GPS, LED notifications, up to 8 hours of talk time, up to 30 days of standby time and a 1420 mAh battery.

This Phone is priced at around Rs. 9000 which is a pretty good price and placing it in direct Competition with the  Samsung Galaxy Pro, Pop, HTC Wildfire , LG optimus one etc
