Samsung has launched another Media Player in south Korea successor to last year’s model Galaxy Player 70. The galaxy Player 70 Plus launched has pretty impresssive specs and is possibly the highest speced media player out there.
The Galaxy Player 70 Plus has a 1GHz dual-core processor, the device packs a large 5-inch display, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, and a 2,500 mAh battery. Those in Korea will also get a DMB TV tuner that will allow them to watch live TV on the go. The device is running Android
That’s a nice list of internals for a personal media player. But it’s not going to be cheap. Prices start at 399,000 won (approx. $356 or Rs. 17,846) for the 16GB model, and rise to 469,000 won (approx. $418 or Rs, 21,000) for the 32GB model.
The Galaxy Player 70 Plus will be available this week in Korea, but Samsung is yet to announce when the device will begin its international rollout. I’m sure it will happen before Apple gets chance to add a dual-core chip to its iPod touch.
