In a recent launch event of Samsung Galaxy S 3 in Japan, Samsung announced that their new smartphone will be launched with 2GB unlike the one they launched in Europe that will have only 1GB RAM.
Japanese version of the device which will be landing on NTT Docomo has already been confirmed to be shipping with 2GB of RAM, as noted by The Verge.
Some may argue that the Extra GB of RAM is solely to compete with the LG Optimus LTE2 which also has 2GB RAM or could be the requirement of the NTT Docomo network or to support the TV Tuner card it also has. Whatever the reason maybe but it seems the 2GB version is exclusive to japan or Samsung could be planning to release it in rest of the world some time after some time to the release of the 1GB version.
Now the confusion is should you buy the 1GB version that is going to out in a few weeks or wait for the 2GB version as more RAM obviously means better multitasking which equals better performance and better experience.
What do you think? Are you ok with the 1GB version or you would rather wait for the 2G version?
