2011 was (is) the year of Dual Phones hitting the market, starting with the LG optimus 2X and Motorola Xoom. Samsung was a little late to the party but made sure the wait was worth it by coming out with the Galaxy S 2 that changed the market and made a lot of Money for it’s Manufacturer.
Few weeks ago Google presented the world with the new version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich that will be a hybrid version of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 3.1 Honeycomb version. So how are the two fact inter related?
All the phone that Samsung has promised to get the Android 4.0 update are Dual Core phones and tablets. The Following Samsung Devices will get the update
- Galaxy S II
- Galaxy Note
- Galaxy Tab 10.1
- Galaxy Tab 8.9
- Galaxy Tab 7.7
- Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
So when is the update expected to start rolling out?
About that, Samsung has said they are waiting for Google to release the Official Final version to the public/ Developers and only after that will we start to see a new version of the Desert named operating system on your Dual Core Phones.
