The Continuum is touted to be the world’s first smartphone designed with a dedicated ticker display, which provides users with up-to-the-minute news, sports, finance and social networking updates for maximized multitasking.
The dual-screen Android phone comes with a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED primary display, 1.8-inch Super AMOLED secondary “ticker” display. The smaller display will apparently work like a news ticker that keeps you updated with trivia like weather, scores while displaying music controls and calling info.
The other features include a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and 336MB RAM, Grip sensor, Bing search, 5 megapixel camera, shoots 720p video. 5 megapixel camera, shoots 720p video. Samsung Continuum also support for WiFi, Bluetooth and with push updates from IM, email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
This phone is currently for the US markets only there is still no news on the availability for the GSM markets…
