It is rumored that Samsung is working on a Slide Out QWERTY keyboard version of the Galaxy S II and now even have some leaked pictures to show it all as well. The Only thing that Makes it look Samsung in the pictures is the Touch Wiz UI like home screen and icons.
It appears that Samsung is just not depending just on the success of the Galaxy S II to compete with the other Dual Core Androids with 3D and stuff and High end Phone Maker’s nightmare the iPhone. With this boom of Touch Screen capacitive touch Screen phones in the Higher End Market Segment everybody just forgot the buttons and just Motorola Capitalizing on that market (Droid/Milestone Series), I guess Samsung saw it as a potential area and decided to just jump right into it.
The Galaxy S II Slide ( Just a Name I picked out for it) is supposed to be running The Same specs as the Galaxy S2 like the 1.2Ghz Dual Core CPU, 8MP Camera, 1GB Ram and of course Android. The leaked photos reveal the slider’s model name is SGH-I927 and it is running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. The leaked pictures and sources also depict that it will soon be releasing AT&T network in the US. Let’s hope they make one to for the Non US GSM market as well.
