Sony Ericsson has been posting some teaser Photos of a new phone they are expected to launch at the CES 2012 event in Las Vegas next week.
There are currently two possibilities of what this could be, It could be the recently leaked Xperia Arc HD (a.k.a. Nozomi). The device is expected to have 4.3″ LCD display of HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels), 12 megapixel camera with FullHD video recodring. The Device is expected to have a Dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion CPU and the Adreno 220 GPU. It also to some extent matches with the pictures above too.
Nozomi is also the name of the fastest train in Japan and most often used as a feminine name translates to “wish” or “hope”.

The 2nd Guess is it could be the 1GHz dual-core U8500 chipset, built by ST-Ericsson and a 4″ qHD display. There will be an 8 megapixel Exmor R camera, featuring a backlit sensor inside, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Code Named Nyphon. This is also the device that will come under the Sony Branding and not from Sony Ericsson but that is expected to be in mid of 2012 so most probably it will not be showcased this time.

It seem it will most likely be a Android Dual core phone, but don’t you think Sony Ericsson is a little late to the party as Samsung, HTC and LG are expected to launch Quadcore Nvidia Tegra 3 Phones & Tablets this Feb at the MWC?
